I am excited to be part of my first blog crawl put together by Debrina Wright- Williams in honor of her upcoming  Dreamers 2 Doers Retreat Inspired by "The Desire Map" and her 10 Day Discovery Adventure program.

Create, Live and Inspire Even When Life Is Crazy

James Dean once said "Dream as if you'll live forever, live as if you'll die today."
Everyone has goals, dreams and visions of what they want to achieve in their life.  But many of us let our dreams get lost "in the clouds" when life gets crazy and we are focusing on too many things already.  Today is the day we need to change that so we can live, catch our old dreams, create new ones and make our dreams a reality.  We need to work together and inspire each other so that we can all meet our personal goals and go from being a dreamer to doer.

Dreams Should Be Divided But Not Forgotten

When I'm busy I like to create a to do lists and check off each item so I can make sure I don't forget what I need to do that day.  As I focus on these lists it is difficult for me to also think about my dreams for the future, making them easily forgotten.  But I have learned that if I divide my dreams into smaller groups or goals I am able to focus on a certain portion or milestone each day making it possible for me to get a few steps closer to achieving my goals.

What Are Your Goals and How can You Divide Them?

In my experience all goals can be divided into 4 main groups:

Family
Health
Social
Financial Stability

I want you to take a few minutes to think about your dreams, goals, and visions.  What are your dreams?  What do you want to achieve in your life?  Can you divide them into these groups?

My Goals

Family: I want to become the best mother to Baby Z  while continuing to strengthen my marriage.
Health:  I want to get back into my pre-pregnancy body and size.
Social:  I would like to meet new “mommy” friends.
Financial Stability:  I want to finish my degree in business, grow my blog, and start my own business doing nails.

The First Step to go from Being a Dreamer to Doer

My grandma once said “A goal not written down is only a wish.”
I’m not really sure where she got that quote from but I know it is true and it is the first step to making your dreams a reality.  By writing dreams we can visually see our dreams every day.  Is also gives us chance to think about what we will DO to accomplish them.  So whether your at your desk, on the couch, or at an appointment write your goals down.

How I Started Turning My Dreams Into Reality

In my life I've been able to accomplish many of my goals.  I learned how accomplish my goals by using trial and error of others advice and tips to create my own method that only takes a few minutes a day.  Here are a few steps:
Divide my dreams into smaller goals
Write them down
Create a plan of what I can do to follow my dreams
Keep track of my daily, weekly, and monthly progress
Use my time more wisely
Use visuals to always remind me of the milestones I wanted to achieve

Tired of Trying and Not Seeing Results?

Before I created my own method it was difficult to successfully accomplish my goals because I didn't know how.  If this is you or if you want to try new way to start doing your goals, subscribe to my page.  By subscribing you will get new steps, details, quotes, and other inspiring thoughts sent straight to your email.  You can also follow me on social media.
